Identity verification is how we ensure every buyer and seller on the platform is who they say they are. This removes the possibility of misrepresentation and adds a layer of security for everyone on the marketplace.
How does Autura Marketplace use this information?
We simply use the information to verify you are human and who you say you are. This information will never be visible on your profile and we only use the verification confirmation. Your verification data will never be used for other purposes.
Why does Autura Marketplace need this information?
Verifying your identity helps keep our auctions safe, fair and transparent for all users. Identity verification ensures legitimate bid and transaction activity which benefits everyone on the platform.
How to verify your identity:
- Navigate to your profile or a vehicle detail page.
- On your profile click “Edit Personal Info” or click “Verify Identification” on a vehicle bid card.
- You will now be at your account settings tab. Click the “Verify Me” button to continue.
- Click “Agree and Continue” on the box that pops up. We use a secure third party to verify your identity. We will only use this information to verify your identity.
- Using your mobile device, scan the QR code.
- Complete the prompts asking for a photo of your ID and a selfie.
- Verification should be immediate. Once you are verified, you will be eligible to bid.
Identity verification is an important step to keep Autura Marketplace safe and fair. Our sales moving forward will require this step. You will only have to complete this step once. Once complete, and with a payment method on file, you are all set and ready to bid.
